There has been a lot of talk on the internet about what seems to be an increase in police on citizen violence, but what about harrassment of people the cops don't agree with politically?

Check out this article showing that if you are a city councilman who falls on the wrong side of the police union's lust for money, you might find you and your neighbors experiencing some "unpleasantness," to say the least.

What's to stop this from escalating into being framed for a crime?

Roosevelt was right, the very idea of a public labor union is a disaster waiting to happen.

  1. This is some scary stuff. The article makes it sound as if this goes on A LOT. Now I'm going to wonder about any vote cast by a politician concerning law enforcement. Was this person intimidated?

    Wow. This is very bad...

    1. Bad indeed. The remaining adults in our law enforecment establishment need to immediately take this problem in hand and solve it, before they lose their credibility with the general public.

Looked at from a slightly different angle, if the cops will do this for money, how much more difficult will it be to go to the next step, then the next, until they are an armed lawless band demanding their money from the taxpayers, or else?
