Taken looking down on the Curiosity rover's landing site by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, we can actually see the first tracks left on the surface of the red planet by Curiosity. The color is obviously enhanced here. 

 Perhaps the start of great things.


Below is the camera on the arm of Curiosity, take with the mast cam.   That looks like one futuristic robotic arm!  By the way, the thing on the end of the arm is a mechanized wire brush used to remove dust.  All of it is very impressive.
