Consider the amazing home grown army that exists in every state, beyond any organized militia or police force or Homeland Security force, simply by virtue of the rights confered on us by the second amendment.

In the state of Wisconsin alone, there were 600,000 hunters that tromped through the woods the last hunting season, all of whom came home safe afterwards.   Matched up against the rest of the world, that is the 8th largest army on the planet.  Not only that, they train themselves to be as accurate as possible with high powered rifles, and maintain a stash of ammunition at home (sometimes an absurdly large stash) without cost to the government of one red cent.

Add to that the 750,000 that hunted the woods of Pennsylvania.  Add to that the 700,000 that hunted in Michigan, and the 250,000 in West Virginia, and you have the largest army in the world.

General Yamamoto's words are as true today as they were in WWII, and perhaps even more so.  All that 40. S&W ammo that the government just bought for who knows what purpose won't help much if Obama's private storm troopers are taken out from a half a mile away.

If he wins another term, however, expect a major push to take away our rights to own guns and/or ammo, which in turn will require a long battle in all the way to the Supreme Court, which won't end well for us if he gets to appoint another progressive justice.
