The USS Dewey, a guided missile destroyer, buries it's bow dramatically into 15 foot seas between Hawaii and San Diego. 

I also like the jaunty, devil may care way the flag is flying.

  1. Great photo of how a tin can rides. The Dewey is some 9,000 tons, try that ride on a Gearing class can at about 3,000 tons! We always felt we should get submarine pay while on a destroyer.
