Today, I took the 18 and 16 year old down to San Francisco to tour the University of San Francisco.   It is the oldest university in California, being founded by Jesuits in 1855, only six years after the beginning of the gold rush.  They have already admitted the 18 year old, and this will be the last tour before the fateful decision is made on which university to attend.

The facilities are located in the middle of the city, and were quite impressive.

The 18 year old approved of the experience.

The inside of the church was amazing.  All in all, it was a lot of fun to visit.  Now, we need to get all the candidates together and make a decision.

  2. Thanks Lou! For the next few years I'm gonna be pinching pennies pretty seriously, but you know it's dad's job to keep the kids in the best school affordable. It makes it a bit easier to get up and go to work in the morning. :-)

    1. Thanks Gerbear! I told the two of them all about what you said, and they were glad to hear of your experience. You may have minted a couple of new Dons!
