"Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.  Well, for example, the other day my wife and I went into town and did a bit of shopping.

As we came out of one shop, we noticed a cop writing a parking ticket.  We went up to him and said in an annoyed voice, "Come on, man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?"

He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.

I called him an "asshole."  He glared at me and started another ticket for having bald tires.  So my wife called him a "shithead."  He finished the second ticket and started writing more.  We kept this up for about twenty minutes.   The more we talked, the more tickets he wrote.  The car's windshield looked like it was covered in Tibetan prayer flags, there were so many tickets.

Just then, our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home.

We always look for cars with "Obama 2012" stickers for this game. It's important to have a little fun each day when you are retired.  It's important at our age."
