In honor of MLK day, I thought it might be a good educational experience to review the list of famous black REPUBLICANS.

And first on that list is of course Martin Luther King, Jr. himself

But did you also know that joining him in the Republican party were/are such luminaries as

Boxing promoter Don King

Frederick Douglass

Sammy Davis Jr.

Wide receiver for the Pittsburg Steelers Lynn Swann

Harriet Tubman

Sojourner Truth

Booker T. Washington

and George Washington Carver, among others.

Not to mention Herman Cain, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele,

J C Watts, Thomas Sowell and Allen West.

That, my friends, is a list of accomplished and famous people.  Democrats can't get near the quality of these Americans, especially while harboring clowns like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and John Conyers.
